The Humane Society of Independence County will be offering monthly dog dip/baths the first Saturday of May, June, July, August and September at the shelter facility which is located at #5 Environmental Dr. in Batesville.  The Humane Society invites everyone to bring their dogs down this Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and get them bathed and/or dipped, and ready for the summer flea/tick season! Donations are accepted and help the shelter fund these events.  We will also have a vaccination clinic from  10 a.m. until noon, so if you are needing to get your furry friends their vaccinations, etc., come by and see Dr. Nanci Solis!  For more information, call the shelter office at (870) 793-0090.
