Graduating seniors who have participated in county, district or state fairs have the opportunity to apply for the Fulton County Fair Scholarship. Apply online @ www.fultoncountyfair.org. Complete & turn into the Fulton County Fair office by March 31, 2017.

Do you struggle with reading? Would you like to get help? We can help you improve your reading for free. We offer reading and English tutoring sessions on your schedule. Life Lights 2016

Life Lights is an annual holiday fundraiser campaign to benefit patient care @ White River Health System facilities. Your gift is a unique way to honor those who have touched your life. The names of those being honored will be publicly acknowledged through, advertisement in local newspapers & social media, names will be listed on the White River Health System website and displayed in the lobby at White River Medical Center. GED Classes to resume

GED Classes @ UACCB will resume on Jan. 9, 2017. Adults may enroll @ 8:30 am Monday & Wednesday and 4-6pm  Tues&Thurs. Classes are available Mon-Fri mornings & from 4-7 Tues& Thurs. Students are allowed to show up late to the evening class depending upon work schedules. Online instruction is also available for students unable to attend class on campus. The official GED test will be offered to eligible students on the following dates: Jan 13th, 20th, & 27th. Additional weekly test dates are available throughout the semester. 13 Week Grief Share Seminar beginning Jan. 5th

When grieving the loss of a loved one, it is sometimes devastating to discover many other related losses. This seminar imparts hope and understanding for what you are going through. It consists of a 3-part program, including DVDs that offers priceless tips & info. About how to move forward after your loss, a discussion group about what you saw in the DVD, and a workbook that helps you sort out your feelings & emotions and reveals how the Lord can be your Hope and your Healer. Calico Rock Presents Bill Of Rights Exhibit

Honor the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights @ the Calico Rock Museum & Visitor Center now through Feb. 25th. The pop-up exhibit was developed by the National Archives & is being presented @ select locations throughout the nation. The reception is in recognition of receiving their official wellness site certification from the State of Arkansas. Guest entertainer will be Michael Kelley performing his “Voices that Change” routine. Batesville Senior Center has been working for two years to receive this certification. Receiving this certification means that senior citizens that attend the center are being offered a great balance & variety of wellness programming that can greatly improve quality of life.
